Refashioned Bags- Certain Curtain Clutch

Refashioned Bags- Certain Curtain Clutch
You will need
One 33cm scrap from a curtain or other boldly printed fabric.
One fabric scrap of the same size for lining
One 28cm zipper
One 46cm ribbon
Something cushiony to use as filling; such as cotton or even scraps from an old sweater.
Place the curtain fabric face to face with the lining fabric. Sew around 3 sides, 6mm from the edge, leaving one of the 28cm sides completely open.
Turn the fabric right side out and evenly “stuff” your filing too thick, be sure to get the corners, and try to even the filling out as much as possible. Pin the filling in place.
Fold the edges of the open side inward and topstitch it closed, leaving a 7 cm opening at one end.
We suggest using a contrasting thread color for this step. Choose a line on the bold pattern of the fabric pattern, quilting to secure the filling into place. Get as intricate as you’d like.
Once the quilting is complete, fold the ribbon in half lengthwise. Stitch the sides together as shown.
Fold the ribbon in half widthwise and place the ends 2.5cm from the top of the fabric inside the opening left in step follow.
Sew the zipper into the top opening of the clutch with a clean finish.
