Building a Brand
Building a Brand – COMELY
KOMELY ENTERPRISES LTD
Manufacturers strive to strengthen their brands by building their business. Manufacturers, such as COMELY, Prada, Zara, H & M, Liz Claibrone, and Tommy Hilfiger, for example, they are able to develop national or global brands. To do this, they can become multiproduct manufacturers, export their merchandise and/or open their own retail stores.
Size Ranges
Manufacturers often add large sizes and/or petites to an existing misses size range. Liz Claiborne, for example, successfully created its Elizabeth collection. Added sales can be achieved by simple grading patterns to the additional sizes.
Secondary lines
Manufacturers may add secondary lines at lower prices, such as many designer-label manufacturers that have added bridge or “better” lines. Marc by Marc Jacobs, Prada’s Miu Miu, and Donna Karan’s DKNY are three examples.
n 2010, our expansion has led us to the creation of our second brand “Me’sio”, and this will target the younger generation. We have started an independent e-commerce channel to make the experience better and faster for our clients.
New Product Divisions
Manufacturers are diversifying their products in order to reach other consumer groups. A Handbag manufacturer may start a small leather goods line, or
Eyeglasses. A Ladies handbag company might start a men’s division, or the opposite. Calvin Klein and Donna Karan.
