Laura Skelton’s designs are “bold, without going over the top.”

She attributes her clean lined design aesthetic to her background in archictecture.  Sketlon’s mother taught her to sew when she was a kid, but it wasn’t until a high school summer program that she began reconstructing vintage materials to create new designs “I used lots of T-shirt and remade them with knots and safety pins.

 This go-getter attitude has served Skelton well; her company Prix-Prix now sells recycled wares all over the world. 

As Skelton demonstrates, that it’s all about being resourceful and innovative.
