Never flouncy and always exquisitely cut, Givenchy’s Handbag showed off its wearer, not the other way round.

Hubert’s influence is still powerful, however. A version of Hepburn’s Breakfast at Tiffany’s evening bag was auctioned for nearly $100,000.00 in 2006.
