Refashioned Bags-Dolce Doily Purse

We will need

6 Curtain rings

3 colors of cloth ribbon, about 6 cm

2 small strips of suede or other strong, glue able fabric.

Cut one 90cm of ribbon.

Tie a knot around one curtain ring with the ribbon.  Begin to wrap the ribbon onto the ring, through the ring’s hole, making sure the ribbon lies flat.

Continue this process until the ring is completely covered by the ribbon, adding a dollop of hot glue onto the ribbon every so often to keep it in place.

Tie the end of a ribbon onto a matching ring.  Once secure, take another ring and tie the ribbon to it as well, so that the 2 rings are touching at the knots.

Thread the ribbon up through the first ring, then down through the second ring.  Wrap the ribbon around the rings in this fashion 5 times or until the ribbon holds the rings together tightly.  Then wrap the ribbon around the center point between the 2 rings

Multiple times, tying knots occasionally, until, the ring feel securely knotted together.

Fold one of the smaller doilies over the corner of the pouch, placing it at about a 70-degree angle.  Pin into place.

Hand-stitch it onto the corner. Repeat on the other side with the other small dolly.

Fold the remaining doily evenly over the top of the bag.  Pin the doily to the bag only on the back.

Thread each small suede strip through a crochet loop at each side of the bag, where the top doily meets the side doilies.

Loop the suede around the first covered ring and glue the ends together to create a loop.  Repeat on the other side and voila!
